Boiler rooms at high rise
apartment buildings are vulnerable to theft, vandalism,
flood and equipment outage. The Boiler System
is your most valuable asset. Loss of heat and hot water
can be devastating to your residents. ACI has addressed
these concerns with "The Boiler Watch System"
that covers all bases with early warning notification
of an impending emergency. At the protected space an
alarm panel key pad programmable, will prevent access
by unauthorized persons. Water and flood detectors will
be placed strategically throughout the space. Smoke
and carbon monoxide detectors will protect against fire
and fumes. Sensors for boiler outage, boiler on safety
and equipment failure will be interfaced to the system.
A local system can be installed with siren sounding
outside the space.
Boiler Watch System
to Annunciator
Annunciator panel with
midrange wireless notification located at the Superintendent
Work Station or Doorman Station with zone lights shall
alert of an impending emergency at the designated space
(up to eight zones) installed.
Boiler Watch
Mid-Range Wireless Transmitter
Mid range
wireless transmitter single channel - range 1 mile open
air interfaced to a Boiler Watch. Signals are sent to
8 Zone annunciator panel for immediate notification.
Boiler Watch
Mid Range Wireless Receiver
The mid
range receiver receives signals from up to 8 Boiler
Watch systems and interfaces to the 8 channel annunciator.
Boiler Watch
Radio Alarm Transmitter
Wireless
transmitter connects to Boiler Watch or any other alarm
point and sends signals up to 30 miles in open air.
These units are a new generation of advanced and high
performance Radio Alarm Transmitter end units, compatible
with all LARS Long Range Audio Alarm Systems. Manufactured
using the latest SMD technology, the ATS100 is synthesized,
with units available for both VHF and UHF frequencies.
Features
- Synthesized
VHF and UHF units
- Compact
and easy to install
- Serial
Port for parameter programming on-site
- Interfaces
with any alarm panel for transfer of up to 256 different
messages
- Programmable
periodic test messages
Central Station Receiver
By interfacing a long range
wireless transmitter to each Boiler Watch System
unit, signals can be transmitted to the Central Station
located in the Security Office. The Central Station
receiver micro-processor is totally wireless, and can
be interfaced with your computers and central pagers.
Information can be transported to remote sites via modem.
Once the Central Station is set up at your facility,
wireless detection devices can be located throughout
the complex, and report by zone to the central processor.
The Central Station can handle in excess of 8,000 alarm
locations.
Central Station Automation
The Central Station receiver
has a built-in LED display and printer port. Alarm codes
are alpha-numeric, and a cross-reference chart must
be used to pinpoint the breached location. If the system
is automated, the exact area being breached will be
depicted on your computer screen and documented by a
print-out. The Automated Central Station includes a
Pentium PC with 20 GIG hard disc 64 megabytes of RAM,
keyboard, 17" monitor, dot matrix printer, and
alarm based management software. The system also includes
a paging interface with local area paging equipment
for alpha-numeric pagers.
