The basic ECS200 is a PC-based,
programmable access system controlling up to 500 users
with an audit trail of 350 events, expandable to 2500
users and 2500 events.**
The ECS200 is easily configured
through our proprietary Windows® ECS Manager Software
and the ECS Model 300 Programmer. The system works through
a communication link established between a chosen credential
and a Site Reader.
Credential options include:
ComKeys, featuring iButton technology which incorporates
a computer chip in a stainless steel disc mounted to
a key fob; miniature RF Remotes, commonly used from
a vehicle to activate garage doors or parking gates
from up to 150 feet;
Proximity Cards and Tags with "read" ranges
varying from 3" to 28" depending upon the
reader model used, RFID for parking and vehicle control
applications and state-of-the-art Biometrics.
The ECS200 can be programmed
on-site or from a remote location. Direct wire, Delta
Key or modem capabilities make the ECS200 state of the
art in access control.
For on-site systems, your
PC can be hardwired directly to the Site Controller
for data transfer. For remote systems, there are two
options: Delta Key or modem.
The Delta Key is a read/write
memory chip utilizing iButton technology.
Using the Delta Key, information is downloaded from
the PC to a specific Site Controller. A Delta Key is
also used to upload event log information from the Site
Controller to the PC. Alternatively, information transfer
can be made using ECS MOD-50 Modems.
System integrity is protected
by an Administrator Credential which locks and unlocks
the download function of the PC. |
