Personal emergency response
systems "PERS" is not new. It has been
around since the early 60's and our company was the
first company to develop this concept in 1962.
In those days there were no central stations.
Notification was made using tape dialers with pre-recorded
announcements sent to specific telephone numbers.
Systems have evolved throughout the 4 decades and now
alerts are sent to active central stations using digital
communicators with two-way voice features.
Our systems are manufactured
under the label of Crisis-AlertT and are being used
by seniors, the disabled, at nursing homes, colleges
and universities. Kentucky Fried Chicken and Dunkin'
Donuts utilize our systems for silent panic hold up
in stores throughout the northeast.
